There are so many fantastic breakfast restaurants in the Kitsap County area. Breakfast is the only meal that’s acceptable to have any time of the day. Breakfast for dinner is a treat, and we all know breakfast for lunch is the perfect way to start any weekend.

I wish I had the time every morning to make a delicious breakfast.  It would include egg omelets, French toast, fresh-cut fruit, and delicious pastries. Unfortunately, I’ve got three kids and a job, and making breakfast is the first thing to go. That’s where going to one of my favorite, local, breakfast spots is not only a lifesaver but such a treat.

Whether you live in Silverdale, Poulsbo, Kingston, or Bainbridge Island, you can get a delicious breakfast made from locally grown ingredients. Here are 11 of Kitsap County’s best breakfast spots you need to try this weekend.

#1. Oak Table Cafe

Did you know that the Oak Table Cafe has three generations of restaurant experience? It’s true and it’s obvious in both their service and the dishes served. The chefs take time to prepare the food. They use recipes passed down from previous generations.

They make all their batters from fresh ingredients and their amazing sourdough barrel. Enjoy their pancakes topped with toppings and syrups made from scratch.

#2. Tracyton Public House

You’ve gone to Tracyton Public House for their burgers, sandwiches, and baskets. Have you gone for their breakfast? If not, it’s a must. This neighborhood pub serves some of the best drinks and food you can get in the area.

No matter how busy your schedule is, there’s time to stop by for breakfast. That’s because Tracyton Public House is open seven days a week.

If you’re looking for the perfect place to meet up with family and friends, you’ve found it at Hops n Drops. Enjoy all your favorites with a twist that will leave you wanting more.

At Hops n Drops, breakfast is a must. Try their biscuits and gravy, rise and shine grilled cheese, or eggs benedict. Don’t forget to give their beermosa a try.

Uncle Dave’s Cafe is the winner of The Best of South Kitsap Breakfast/Brunch in 2021.  They were also the winners in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017. So you know it’s going to be a hit. Try their biscuits and gravy or their famous chicken fried steak burrito.

#6. Madison Diner

A fun little fact about Madison Diner. It was first built in 1948. The first location was in a suburb north of Philadelphia, Willow Grove. The restaurant sat vacant for years until Al Packard, a Bainbridge Island local, bought it in 1996.

They disassembled the diner. Then shipped it all the way to its new home in Bainbridge Island. Visit a piece of history and stop by the Madison Diner.

This Bainbridge Island restaurant has been a local favorite for over 22 years. Streamliner Diner serves organic, health-conscious, comfort food made from scratch. Try their avocado, bacon, cheese, and tomato omelet. Or give their breakfast burrito a try, and be sure to include bacon.

Who doesn’t love a good brunch on Saturday or Sunday? I know I’m always up for a late breakfast/early lunch on the weekends. Crabtree Kitchen + Bar brings the freshest ingredients possible. They work with local farmers to bring the best cuisine of the Pacific Northwest.
